I have a 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate with a 6.2 and previously always ran K&N series 77 on my previous trucks, K&Ns most aggressive. With that said S&B really surprised me with how aggressive it is. You can definitely feel the difference in throttle response and sound. I also installed an afe throttle body spacer and Borla Atak exhaust, it sounds amazing. No check engine lights and easy install!

Install the S&B cold air intake system on my 2022, GMC 1500 sierra with a 5.3 L engine and 9000 miles the installation took me two hours or more because of a lack of some proper tools, but mostly a bit of a struggle to get the enclosure that holds the monster big new air filter into its proper place. Not a design problem, but more an issue of figuring out exactly how to turn it, rotate, etc. to get it into place. I strongly recommend that buyers superglue the two little rubber feet onto the assembly as they keep getting knocked off when trying to do the installation. Achieved substantial improvement in throttle response, only slight change in sound at lower RPMs, but above 3000 you definitely notice a difference being told now that to achieve horsepower and torque gain, that I must re-tune remap the engine, so doing my homework on that since the vehicle is under warranty. Perhaps a mild tune.
