What a disappointment. After the install, it broke the first time I closed it. My previous TruXedo was built much better, especially the release mechanism. It also fits small on my F150 vs the previous version I owned. The return process was easy and painless.

Second truxedo I've owned (diff trucks) Installed the new one in about 40 mins. Looks great and quality seems as good or better than the previous one. And I loved the previous one! Like the single pull cord to release both sides latches. Sits snug on the truck rails.

I have used this product for the last 10 years and maybe more than that. There have a few improvements over the years but it has always been a very good cover. I know of several people who purchase this cover after seeing mine and how it works. I will keep buying this product whenever I get a new truck. Or use the current top if it still fits.

The overall install process was not bad. I am disappointed in the quality control of the product as you can see in the pictures below. The weather stripping was no on straight, leaving gaps for moisture to come in. It also did not run the length of the rail and i had to use leftover weather stripping from the bulkhead layer to fill the gap. Which will not sustain keeping the elements out. The weather stripping for the bulkhead does not seal up to the weather stripping on the roll up cover mount. Had to purchase additional weather stripping to keep the air and elements from coming in through the bulk head. I researched the cover as I was replacing on older cover that failed. It was not until I installed the cover that I saw the warning to not drive the vehicle with the cover rolled up. This was the main purpose of buying a rollup cover. I will have to find a way now to secure it while hauling items in the bed with the cover rolled up. I have not had it in rain or carwash to determine the amount of leakage the cover may have. So I am not able to respond to that. Overall I am not truly happy with the cover due to the poor quality and attention to detail. My rating may have been lower, but I have only had it installed for a few days....

This is the second tonneau cover that I bought for my husband. The first one was on his truck that he just traded for newer one. I bought it for his newer truck because he really liked the way it worked & looked. The first one was great & I have no doubt this one will be also. It's a great quality tonneau cover. If I ever need to buy another one, I would definitely buy this one again. My husband loves it.
