This is a great looking cover, but not without a few issues. The installation is simple and initial setup only took 15-20 minutes. However, in the case of my truck, the cover was too wide to close. I tried a lot of different positions for the clamps to change the angle of the rails but no matter what it was too wide. I ended up filing down the plastic approximately 1/8” or 1/6” at the latches on both sides until I could press down and latch on both sides. Next problem are the seals at the bulkhead and tailgate. They are wavy and don’t lay flat, as well as sitting to high (they do lay a bit flatter after a few weeks and some warmer days). I have pressed down as tightly as possible while clamping down and the seals seem to sit 1/8” -1/4” to high to make good contact with the sealing surfaces. This lets a bit of water in and makes it easy to access the release latches with a coat hanger or something. Although the cover is designed to work with or without bed caps, it seems that all these problems I’ve had would be lessened if the bed caps were removed. I plan on getting some more seals from Amazon to thicken the sealing areas and that should take care of any leaks. After fiddling with the cover a lot, it finally looks and functions well. Also, for anyone interested, I had to clearance the rails a bit to fit the Ram bed extender.
