Just what I expected in this product. Only problem was 4 scratches that I assume happened durning shipping. Still very happy with how it looks on the truck.

Finished install looks great and it is built very heavy duty. The over all quality is very good. Installed it by myself. It is a bit of a job to do alone. Needed to remove the bumper to access the frame and mount the brackets. One of the L brackets was slightly bent and one bolt assembly was too short. Packaging was damaged in shipping and there were some minor scratches to the guard. Definitely recommend this product, but dont expect complete plug and play and have a helper lined up.

The Ranch Hand Griil Guard is worth paying more for. The heavy guage steel and nice welds are apparent. My installation on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 took much longer than expected. Factory installed options blocked access to fasteners. This made installing and tightening fasteners difficult. I was able to install the product without a helper.

The installation is pretty straightforward but the installation guide they sent with it is kinda vague. There were no instructions as to which way the top bracket was supposed to turn, out or in. The finish on the grill guard was flawless and wrapped up and protected very well. The hardest part of the installation was getting everything lined up and keeping it in place while tightening everything back up. It would have been a lot easier with some extra help. I could probably install the next one in half the time after doing this one. Don’t know how it performs, and hope I don’t find out but it should handle the deer we have around here.

The unit came with a scratch on the driver side headlight area that did not happen in shipping it was covered up really good, so some spray paint fixed that. The hard part was removing the parking sensors without breaking. I did it with the help of a strap and engine hoist took me 4 hours + 1 hour for the sensor relocation kit. It all works good. I got it for protection against deer, not for truck jewelry I hope to never need it. The directions did suck but it's not rocket science.
