1993 Chevy c1500 5.7ltr TBI. Before installing Replaced, Spark plugs Ignition wires Ignition Cap and Rotor 160 thermostat Fuel filter Air filter Pcv valve Ignition coil Ignition module Clean throttle body Replaced ect sensor Ckd Timing I disconnecred battery, Installed the Jet Chip. Seems I received a DEFECTIVE CHIP.. Under normal or heavy acceleration my truck would bog and backfire up through the throttle body as if it was much too lean. W 93 octane fuel. Several times it backfired up through the throttle body and shut down. I removed Jet Chip reinstalled factory Chip and truck runs great. I would try a new Chip (possible defective chip) or a full refund.

My 93 Chevy truck ran way too lean since I replaced the 305 with a 350 short block. I bought a Jet chip for the 350. Fuel mixture is corrected even with the old 305 injectors. More power and no more lean mixture.
