The installation is very simple probably 15 minutes once you find the factory wire connector! Your instructions appear incorrect..not for our 2024 Subaru Outback. I watched a tube video showing the wire connector in back under a single plastic trim panel on the passenger side. I lifted the corner of this panel and saw a connector there! Your instructions require the removal of a number of floor panels to find it behind the driver's side back seat!

The product was easy to install but could have been made easier if the trailer side of the harness had been provided with a connector/receptacle mechanism closer to the control module. As received, it's all solidly attached together but the trailer 4-pin connector did not fit through the factory (rubber plugged) opening in the spare tire well. The user is then forced to keep the pigtail inside the vehicle and run it out between the liftgate door and the step (IMO kind of sloppy), OR, cut the wires so the pigtail could be fit through the factory opening then resplice into the harness inside the vehicle. Otherwise, the product worked just fine!

Simple and connected easily to my 2024 crosstrek existing plug. Only complaint was the cover to the 4way is flimsy. It broke trying to stretch it over the connector

Super easy install! Most difficult part was figuring out where to drill the whole for the grounding wire screw on my Subaru outback (the thin metal above the factory plug is best). There are good YouTube videos about the install, but the directions enclosed in this product make it super simple.

'23 outback factory connector is under the rear plastic panel by the hatch latch- passenger side, not the drivers side, side panel per the inductions. The box should be smaller, but did fit when ziptied in place by factory connector. Self-tapping screw for the ground is easy to strip. I ended up with a nut&bolt for my ground.

Really nice quality harness. You've got to dismantle the rear cargo area some what but nothing to drastic. Hardest part was locating the factory hook up to plug into the harness. Overall very happy with the outcome.

I was disappointed that it was not a 7 point plug as all my trailers have that type a plug, must vehicles come with that type of plug, for the price of it should have come with it made that way.
