Are you preparing for a weekend getaway or an outdoor adventure, but your gear just won’t fit? Are you anticipating a big move? Do you need to haul away garage clutter or yard waste? From compact cars to SUVs and crossovers, many vehicles don’t have a stock hitch to make these loads possible. The Curt Receiver Hitch is here to provide the support you need. Simply bolt on this tough aftermarket automotive accessory for a secure, flawless fit that will add to the style of your cherished vehicle.

The precise robotic welding generates maximum capacity and ideal performance. First, your hitch is submerged in a pre-finish using Aquence Technology (A-coat). Then, it's covered with a final powder coat, and cured to provide exceptional protection outside and inside. Engineered to create an open back for easy cleaning, your Receiver Hitch will not allow debris to collect or cause deterioration.

Customize your hitch by selecting either square tubes that hide the cross tube or predominant round tubes for a stylish flare. Pick the perfect fit for unmatched strength by matching your Curt Hitch to your specific make and model. The five weight classes are:

  • Class 1: Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) is 2,000 pounds; Tongue Weight (TW) is 200 pounds
  • Class 2 GTW is 3,500 pounds; TW is 300 pounds
  • Class 3: GTW is 3,500-6,000 pounds; TW is 350-600 pounds
  • Class 4-5: GTW is 6,000-12,000 pounds; TW is 600-1,200 pounds

NAPA AUTO PARTS is proud to offer the Curt Receiver Hitch, manufactured in the U.S., tested to SAE J684, and covered with a Lifetime Warranty.

Great hitch! Conceals nicely under car. Self installed in about 45 minutes (Not bad at 73). It would be easier if you had a second person to hold up while you installed bolts.

Arrived perfectly. So easy to install and fit the way it was intended. You do need a torque wrench so be prepared for that. I would order this again and recommend it to others.

Installed it in my garage and used a jack to lift it. It was pretty stable on it and was able to lift it up. Just had to navigate over the exhaust and it fit in nice. Put the two bolts in facing down to hold it and then the two on each side. Needed a bit of pushing to get them in. Used never seize on the bolts. YouTube video was helpful.

bolted right up. Couldn't be easier. It tucks up behind the gas tank, and unless there is a hitch ball installed it is completely under hidden under the bumper. Very nice design and much better than the junk the Hyundai dealer tried to pass of as a trailer hitch.

I thought I could do this myself with no help - wrong (but I am a disabled veteran with bad shoulders, was too heavy for me). After it fell off the tailpipe on the one side and hit me in the head - (good size knot) on head), I go my helper - a floor jack with a scrap piece of plywood large enough to handle any shifting of hitch. I was actually able to get it on the tailpipe side and jack up with my leg to get all the holes aligned (the front ones can be difficult). I put in all the bolts on the one side in but not tightened down, the slide the jack over and was able to do the other side. Placement of the first bolt (nearest back bumper) was difficult on both sides but once aligned I was able to go back and tighten down all of the bolts. Would have taken less time if I started with the floor jack.

Have installed other hitches and this one was the most difficult. Very tight fit for most of the side bolts and needed to grind out one of the bracket holes to install last bolt. Liked quality of product.

It should have taken 30 minutes, but the fit to the frame was to tight and required a floor jack to press it into place, after loosening all the bolts several times, I was able to thread only 5 of the 6 bolts into the frame, now will have to remove the hitch and drill out the last hole as its too small to thread the last screw.
