Looks and fit perfectly after I pushed the brackets apart about 1/8". Shipping was fast and ahead of schedule box was in great shape and the hitch had no visible damage. I would buy another Curt from NAPA if I need one.

It appears to be a well designed and made hitch. The finished product was not perfect. The mounting flanges were an inch too close together. I had to spread the flanges in order to make it fit. I assume their jig or welding process does not hold the flanges in the correct location. Maybe they removed it form welding before it cooled. In any case, once I spread the flanges to their correct position, if fit perfectly. There was also a plastic panel that needed to be modified after the hitch was installed.

The hitch was bent and had to be returned. These brackets are 1/5 inch thick steel and one side was significantly bent. No packaging or powder coat damage, so it left the factory this way. Obviously no quality control at Curt.

This curt class 3 receiver hitch is solidly built. Fit perfectly. It took me longer to install because my rav 4 is a few years old and the welded nuts had lots of corrosion in the threads. Had to re tap the holes. Once that was done , the installation was a breeze. Napa was great to deal with. Ordered online , the hitch was on my front porch in two days.

The tow hitch is heavy-duty and well-made. On my 2017 Toyota Rav4, it completely covers the rear jacking point of the car (a round nub where I like to place a lifting jack), so I will have to find an alternative place to lift the car. It was difficult to install the tow hitch by myself, because it was heavy and unwieldy. I used a metric tap to chase (clean, renew) the threads where I would be inserting the bolts, something I highly recommend doing. When I install my 2" Thule bike rack, there is wobble and noise while driving. The fit is actually quite good, and the wobble is to be expected given this design. I am now purchasing a "hitch tightener" to help get rid of the wobble ($14). Overall, I am pleased with the tow hitch.

It took between one and two hours because of jacking up Rav4 and setting up jack stands and removing left side undercover and fastening tailpipe out of the way to get to bolt holes. I fastened the right rear side a little loose and then proceeded to left side where I had to use long drift/alignment pin to pry hitch toward the outside to get holes to align together.( I had to pry about 1/2" ) The hitch is sturdy and well painted and is not in the way of getting stuff in and out of backend. My cargo rack that I got from Northern Tool fit good in the 2" receiver and looks good! I would definitely recommend this Curt hitch from NAPA. Hitch arrived sooner than expected with no damage.
