I had a lot of help from YouTube, but installation was simple enough. Since I'm in my 60s it took me a bit longer than most I suppose. Operation is smooth and sturdy, making getting in and out a lot easier.

Amazing side step! Needed something with a lower reach for my wife, and these were my only option for my truck. Was hesitant about the price, but after installing them and seeing my wife be able to get in my truck without issue these are worth every penny. Took just over 4 hours installing them by myself, but that time also included removing the nerf bars that were already on the truck. Love the lights as well, can see the entire step even in the dark!

Wiring is simple, installation is straightforward but time consuming. The parts to attach the actual step to the lowering brackets can be improved. I liked ordering from Napa rather than Amazon

Read the instructions carefully you will miss understand the illustrations, Make sure you have the right tools b4 you start the install. If you look at the tools needed to do the install and you ask yourself what is that tool do yourself a favor and get a professional to do the install. You can't go wrong with the purchase of these steps, they look awesome and work as well. Installed on a 2021 Ram 2500 crew cab 4x4, very satisfied.

I installed the AMP research power boards on my new RAM 2500. They function perfectly, they fold up & away for a non-existence look. They deploy instantly, solid and secure, & retract quickly. Every part fit perfectly. The instructions suggest 3-5 hrs install time, maybe if you had previously installed a set. I probably had about 8 hrs invested in my installation. But ya gotta figure that I will be 73 y/o in 2 months, worked in my drive-way, in Oklahoma, on a cold January. Get you a set, install in phases. 1.install frame reinforcement brackets, 2 courtesy lights, 3.rough in the wiring, 4. hang step hardware & the steps. Connect the wiring, secure with zip ties, re-install the fuse CAUTION: The steps may move when power is applied!! Function test & check your work.
